Assistance to regional operator in bidding for International and Long
Distance (ILD) Network license in Algeria
Situation
A regional telecom operator wanted to bid for the license to establish and operate an international and long distance network in Algeria

    Identified number of significant risks, which led bidder not to submit bid. No other bids were received
    The Algerian telecom regulator (ARPT) has amended the license conditions, taking into account consultant’s comments and licensing process has been re-launched
