			The national carrier was losing money and restructuring and privatization were required to restore its profitability

			High political involvement
			The case was to set a precedent on the seriousness of the government in reform

	Connexus Contribution
			Drafted report to the Government of Lebanon recommending strategy for the restructuring of MEA and its privatization
			Drafted policy report which was the basis for the Council of Ministers’ decision to start by restructuring the airline

	Results
			The Council of Ministers adopted the recommendations and the Middle East Airline was able to restore profitability
